church. a man quietly waiting at a stop light- when a high speed collision happens right in front of him. witnesses say police car was traveling westbound on route 7, when a car facing the opposite direction tries to turn left on patrick henry drive. and boom. fairfax county police say both the officer and the driver of this other vehicle were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries. the man who shot the accident says-- it happened out of nowhere. police say a preliminary investigation does not indicate that the officer was

speeding. but an accident reconstruction team is still investigating the incident and will have a more detailed report later today. happening now-- federal investigators are examining a troubling security breach at new york's j-f-k airport. 11 people made it onto planes monday- without security screening! tsa officials say a screening lane was left open, and nearly a dozen people walked through before anyone noticed. 3 of those people actually set off the metal detector, but since there was no one there, they just kept on walking. the t-s-a does not believe there was any threat, and says the passengers' carry on bags still went through screeners. however, the agency is reviewing the incident - and will discipline workers involved. a controversial alt-right figure- will not be at c-pac. the conservative political action conference- faced days of backlash for inviting milo yiannopoulos. you may remember- he's the guy who was scheduled to speak at the university of california berkeley. that ignited these massive, violent protests last

police officer. police now believe the suspect killed his cousin earlier that same day. they say he then stole a car and drove into whittier, where he rear ended another vehicle. as officers aproached, he allegedly opened fire. at least one officer returned fire. both officers and the suspect were rushed to area hospitals, where one officer was pronounced dead. the other officer and the suspect are

police say the suspect has a criminal background, and was released from custody about a week before yesterday's shooting. happening now.. police are investigating vandalism at a historic jewish cemetery near st. louis, missouri. more than 100 headstones were damaged. police would not say if they consider this a hate crime. but they believe an organized group is responsible. meanwhile, at least 11 jewish community centers cross the country were targeted with bomb threats yesterday. the f-b-i is investigating. the white house is denouncing the bomb threats. ivanka trump tweeted, quote..
